Child Support Intercept

Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) Law requires that Child Support be deducted from your unemployment benefits if so directed by the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS).    You will be notified by this Agency if Child Support will be deducted from your weekly UI benefits.

If you have any questions about the court order or the amount of child support owed, please contact your local child support office at MDHS.
