NEW TAX FILING REQUIREMENT

Effective January 1, 2019 — The Mississippi Department of Employment Security will require electronic filing of all state unemployment quarterly tax reports and payments. This requirement applies to all Tax and Wage reports.

To ensure that you meet the deadline YOU MUST CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT by providing your information as follows.
CLICK HERE, provide the information requested, and then submit.

You MUST also REGISTER for E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE, by following the steps below.

Select E-mail Signup.
Provide the information requested on the screen.
Under “Application”, select Tax
Under “Preferred Method of Contact”, select Email
Enter your email address
Confirm your email address
You must “Agree” to the Terms and Conditions regarding Electronic Notifications
You will receive a Verification Email from MDES

VERY IMPORTANT

You MUST read and follow the instructions in the VERIFICATION EMAIL to complete the online registration process and to begin online filing.
