If you are out of work because of the disasters resulting from tornadoes occurring on March 24, 2023 you may be eligible for Unemployment Insurance Assistance or Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA).

DUA provides financial assistance to individuals whose employment or self-employment who have lost their job or work has been interrupted as a direct result of a major disaster.

What information do I need to file an Unemployment Claim?
Your work history information for the past 18 months including employer names, addresses, phone numbers, the reason for separation, and dates of employment;
your current contact information;
your driver’s license or state ID number; and
your Social Security Card.
