Notice of Two Public Hearings of the State Workforce Investment Board in Planning the State’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Proposal

Notice is hereby given that the State Workforce Investment Board (SWIB) will hold public hearings on Friday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday, July 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Central High School Auditorium of the Mississippi Department of Education located at 359 North West Street in Jackson, Mississippi. The purpose is to receive public comments in the planning of the state’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).  These public hearings will be held in conjunction with the SWIB task force meetings and are specifically designed to afford the public the opportunity to hear about the WIOA planning process and to allow the public to offer any comments about the proposed plan.
