The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program helps Mississippians receiving Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits return to work as quickly as possible.

RESEA provides personalized guidance, practical job search support, and clear information about UI requirements so claimants can move confidently toward their next employment opportunity.

Individuals selected for RESEA may participate in up to three individualized sessions. During these sessions, participants receive tailored labor market information, job matching assistance, and insights into the skills employers are looking for. RESEA also provides tools to enhance job-search strategies and improve interview readiness, tailored to each claimant’s experience and career goals.

Throughout the process, MDES provides ongoing communication to help claimants stay informed, prepared, and supported. RESEA also reviews key UI eligibility requirements to ensure participants understand what is needed to remain in good standing while receiving benefits.
