Occupational Employment Projections

Occupational Employment Projections show the expected future number of workers to be employed in different occupations of the labor market during a given period. The projections data will show which occupations are expected to employ more or less workers in the future.

Long-term projections cover a ten-year period and are updated at the statewide level every two years.  Substate level long-term projections are updated on a two-year schedule during the year following the statewide updates.

Short-term projections cover a two-year period, are updated every year, and provided at the state level only. Confidentiality rules prevent the release of some data.
